Official: Ukraine to cut Russian diesel fuel imports to 25% Aug
KIEV, Aug 6 (PRIME) -- Ukraine expects the share of Russian diesel fuel in its diesel fuel imports to decrease to 25% in August and 10–15% in September from the current 45%, spokesman for the president Andrei Gerus said at a press conference on Tuesday.
“We will attain significant diversification in August in fact. Whereas Russia’s earlier supplies accounted for about 45%, we expect them at 25% in August and at 10–15% in September,” Gerus said.
He also said that imports from Belarus would cover the shortages of diesel fuel that may result from reduction of imports from Russia.
